1. How do I pay for your services?
Our clinic proudly accepts private pay to pay for services to ensure that individuals seeking our expertise have access to high-quality care. For those with out-of-network insurance benefits, we also facilitate the process by providing Superbills. These detailed documents contain all the necessary information, enabling clients to seek reimbursement from their insurance providers. For families without coverage, we also provide a prompt-pay discount. Feel free to contact us for more details or to discuss your specific needs.

2. Which types of insurance are currently accepted?
We welcome insurances that offer out-of-network benefits. Upon receiving your intake form and scheduling an appointment, we will reach out to your commercial/private insurance provider. You will receive a comprehensive report detailing your insurance coverage specific to speech therapy. This report will show the covered services and your expected financial responsibility based on your policy.
3. Where do you provide home speech therapy?
We provide speech services in the home in the following cities: Manhattan Beach, Redondo Beach, Carson, Torrance, Long Beach, San Pedro, and Rancho Palos Verdes.
4. What does an evaluation consist of?
In general, all evaluation procedures will consist of a parent/guardian interview, clinical observations, direct testing, and if possible a records review of previous reports (i.e. pediatrician, audiologist, occupational therapist, teacher, etc.). It is also helpful to obtain information from other professionals that work with your child (i.e. teachers, pediatricians, etc.), however, this can only be obtained with your written consent by signing a two-way-release form. Evaluation materials used are heavily dependent on your child’s needs.
5. How long do evaluations last?
The length of an evaluation is heavily dependent on your child’s individual needs and area of concerns. Evaluations can be completed in a single one hour session or it may be necessary to schedule an additional appointment, depending on the complexity of your child’s needs.
6. Do you provide a Superbill?
At this time, we provide a Superbill.
7. What is gestalt language processing?
If you have noticed that your child repeats things that they have heard from movies, books, etc, they may be gestalt language processors. This can only be determined through the completion of an evaluation by a Speech-Language Pathologist.
8. What is a receptive language deficit?
If you have concerns that your child has difficulty responding to questions and following instructions, an evaluation will help determine if your child has a receptive language deficit.

9. What is an expressive language deficit?
If you have concerns that your child has difficulty expressing themselves and has limited words for their age, an evaluation will help determine if your child has an expressive language deficit.
