Our Team.

Our team is composed of passionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) who are deeply committed to the field of speech and language development. Each clinician brings unique expertise and compassion to their work, ensuring the best outcomes for our clients.

We understand the importance of work-life balance, which is why our clinicians have the autonomy to manage their caseloads and schedules. This flexibility empowers our team to maintain their passion for the field, prioritize self-care, and deliver the highest quality services to our clients. Meet Our Clinical Director

Dr. Destiny Johnson is a proud Latina and licensed bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (English/Spanish), as well as the Founder and Clinical Director of Multimodal Communication Speech Clinic P.C. She earned her Doctor of Speech-Language Pathology from Northwestern University and specializes in Early Intervention, bilingual speech and language development, and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). 

 

Dr. Johnson is also actively engaged in advocacy and leadership within the field. She is a member of the Speech/Language Impairment Eligibility Task Force through the California Speech-Language-Hearing Association (CSHA), where she contributes to statewide efforts aimed at revising the California Code of Regulations to better align with current, evidence-based clinical practices.

In addition to her advocacy work, Dr. Johnson is actively involved in professional education. She has been selected to present at both state and national conferences, including the California Speech-Language-Hearing Association (CSHA) Convergence and the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Convention. Her invited and selected peer-reviewed presentations include:
